Rink

Santa Rosa has a long history of local hockey action, from the first official ice rink at Grace Bros Brewery in 1939 to the Santa Rosa Ice Arena on Summerfield Road in 1961. The community has always found a renewing passion for the sport of ice hockey. But arguably, no-one possessed a greater passion for ice hockey than the local legend himself, Charles M. Schulz, and so, this beautiful ice rink was born. Since opening in 1969, Snoopy’s Home Ice, also known as Redwood Empire Ice Arena, has been the home for hockey clubs of all shapes, sizes, and ages. Young athletes from Santa Rosa and the surrounding Sonoma County communities have been training and competing at Snoopy’s Home Ice ever since.
Snoopy’s Home Ice regularly hosts thrilling hockey action at all levels, including the high-flying action of the Santa Rosa Junior Hockey Club, the thrills and spills of Polar Bear College Hockey, now all the way up to the mighty Santa Rosa Growlers Senior-A hockey team, and so much more. It's also for all ages! For over 40 years, teams have traveled from across North America and from all corners of the globe to participate in the world's premier Senior Hockey Tournament. Snoopy’s Home Ice continually offers a fun, friendly atmosphere for every member of the family to enjoy the sport of ice hockey.
Show your Polar Bear Pride this season and come join us at the COOLEST place in Sonoma County!
