SRJC Hockey Club’s 2012-13 Sponsorship Team Announced

      The Polar Bears are pleased to announce their 2012-13 sponsorship team. The success of the Polar Bears season is credited largely to their sponsors, who lend their names and financial support to the club. As a club hockey team the Polar Bears receive no financial support from the Santa Rosa Junior College. The money raised from the sponsorships goes towards supporting team operations, travel expenses, ice time costs and league fees, which can total up to $45,000 for a single season. Without the willingness of local businesses college hockey in Santa Rosa would not exist.

      West Side Grill, Sam for Play Café, Westec Tanks, Hampton Inn of Rohnert Park, Darcy’s Fine Jewelers and Pine Creak Rentals have signed with the Polar Bears as platinum level sponsors. The Polar Bears director of marketing states "It's exciting to see the growth of our hockey club within the community, as our exposure increases so will our sponsorships and the returns and rewards they gain from us and our fans". Several other businesses are supporting the SRJC hockey club as gold, silver and bronze level sponsors.
