SANTA ROSA, CALIFORNIA (Aug. 18, 2016): With big plans on the horizon, the Santa Rosa Junior College Polar Bears announced today their official tryout dates for the team to draft a new set of champions for its upcoming American Collegiate Hockey Association Division II campaign.
Taking place Aug. 26-27 at Snoopy’s Home Ice, SRJC will put participants through a rigorous two-day audition to set its official 2016-17 roster. All players can expect a thorough introduction to the organization, along with the team’s expectations for its newly designed practices and off-ice training. Both tryout days have a strict 9:15 p.m. puck drop. SRJC will charge $50 per skater for both tryout dates. Payment must be made in cash or check before taking the ice Aug. 26. The team forwent an official recruitment skate this year, opting for offseason freshman drafting and increased practices with returning skaters. SRJC hopes to roster at least 24 players this season, and invites players of all skill level to attend the team’s tryouts. |
